Appendix E Enable Telnet Program in Windows 7 and 8

Exercise the following steps to enable the Telnet Program:

1. Click over the Start button.

2. Click over the Central Control Unit menu option.

3. Click over the Programs and Features icon.

4. Click over the Turn Windows features on or off menu option.

The Turn Windows features on or off dialog window will open. 39.

Note: If prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the

password and/or confirm the action.

5. Mark the check box next to the Telnet Client feature.

6. Click over the button.

The Telnet program is enabled. 40.
